Besides hiring a wedding planner, booking your wedding venue will be one of the first choices you make once you begin wedding planning - this will also be one of the biggest decisions you make for your wedding! This will be where your big day takes place to house you and your guests, and from a photography standpoint, will be the backdrop for every photo taken on your wedding day.
This list of venues are 5 of our favorite's here at The Fetch Bride, and as Georgia wedding planners, we have been to some great ones! This list specifically includes venues in different cities in Georgia, with indoor options to protect you in the case of rain!
Ashton Gardens — Sugar Hill, GA (Fully indoor wedding venue)
Ashton Gardens in Sugar Hill, is an all-inclusive wedding venue that includes everything from catering/bar, linen rentals, photography, DJ services, exit car, to floral! This is a great option for busy couple's that want everything under one roof, with less individual vendors to keep track of. One important item to note, this venue does not allow outside catering or bartending, so keep this in mind if you choose to submit an inquiry! This venue does have the option to bring in all of your own other vendors though, so you don't lose your ability to choose who your other aesthetic/design vendors will be!
This venue is fully indoor, with two separate buildings on the property: one for the ceremony, and one for the reception. While it's fully indoor, it's also enclosed with floor to ceiling glass windows which makes the space feel outdoor despite being indoor! Rain or shine, this chapel style venue will be perfect for your dream wedding day. So for the bride concerned about rain on the big day, this one is for you!

Rhodes Hall — Atlanta, GA (Semi-indoor wedding venue)
Rhodes Hall in Atlanta, is a historical building in Atlanta that has been converted to an event space. There is a bridal suite upstairs, and a groom's suite in their basement with a full floor dedicated to the ceremony space. The wedding that our team did at the venue, we did an outdoor cocktail hour on the venue's wrap-around porch and courtyard space - the exterior castle is the best background for your cocktail hour photos!
While cocktail hour is happening, the reception space is being flipped and set with the guest tables. Grand intros are down the stairs, and the wedding being in a house creates a cozy, and intimate atmosphere for your big day! The dancing part of the reception is then fully outdoor on the wrap-around porch, and the inside being open for guests that want to be away from the music!

173 Carlyle House — Norcross, GA (Semi-indoor wedding venue)
173 Carlyle House in Norcross is the epitome of a Southern home, with a charming, modern outside courtyard for ceremony to match it! The indoor section of the house seats the guests in it's different rooms (similar to Rhodes Hall), depending on your guest count, you may be able to seat all of your guests in their ballroom and still have space for your dance floor! Dinner is served by their in-house catering team, and the bartenders are apart of the in-house bar team!
For your ceremony, it will be to the left of the house on their outdoor courtyard. The venue includes up to 200 chairs for your use, and will be setup/removed by the venue staff! The courtyard is beautiful as is, but is also the perfect blank slate for you to create your dream ceremony space! Afterward, your cocktail hour will be held in the halls of the house, and on the wrap-around porch while you and your forever partner walk-through their gardens for your couple's portraits!

Georgian Hall — Athens, GA (Fully indoor wedding venue)
Georgian Hall in Athens, is in a historic city in Georgia, and in yet another historic building! Walking into the atrium, you are immediately greeted with natural light, tall pillars, and the iconic wooden arched doors. The main venue space is used for the ceremony, and the cocktail hour afterward is held in the secondary main space (behind the arched doors) and hall. Once the flip is completed to turn your ceremony space into your reception space, all of your guests will be seated for dinner to be served, and dances to begin!
This venue is fully indoor, and has a getting ready space available upstairs for getting ready. This is typically given to the bride/bridesmaids, and while there is no dedicated groom/groomsman getting ready space, there are bathrooms in the venue and plenty of hotels within walking distance! And to note: the catering/bar are in-house, along with a venue coordinator!

Barn South — Talmo, GA (Semi-indoor wedding venue)
Barn South in Talmo (Jackson County), is a hidden gem! Nestled away on it's many acres, it's a modern barn (All white, no orange walls or flies in sight!) with an outdoor ceremony and an outdoor cocktail hour space. This venue gives you the ability for a fully closed reception space, and their mobile bar allows for the bartender you choose to easily roll from the outdoor patio to the indoor reception space!
The indoor reception space seats your guests with the venue's banquet style farmhouse tables! The prep kitchen allows for the caterer of your choice to provide your guests with the dinner style of your choice! You'll party the night away inside, and have your grand exit down their outside patio steps!
